Fall Features - Scenic Drives

Addison County Farms
Starting in Middlebury … ~41 miles
> From Middlebury, travel south on Route 7; turn left onto Route 125 and take it into Ripton. Central Vermont [map]
> Turn left at the Ripton Country Store onto Lincoln-Ripton Road and follow this road North to Lincoln.
> Head west out of Lincoln down the mountain on the Lincoln Road to Route 17.
> Travel Route 17 west through Bristol and New Haven; then turn left on to Route 7 to return south to Middlebury.
Alternate Route - ~45 miles
> From Middlebury take Route 125 West to Chimney Point Historic Site.
> Then take Route 17 North to Addison, passing DAR John Strong House Museum; follow Route 17 to Route 22A.
> Turn left and travel north to the smallest city in the United States, Vergennes.
> Take a side trip to enjoy Vergennes' interesting Victorian architecture.
> Take the Vergennes/Monkton Road east to Monkton Ridge, turn right on to Bristol Road (becomes North Street).
> In Bristol, take Route 17 west to Route 7; then take Route 7 south to Middlebury.
