Vermont features two major interstates and a well-maintained network of state highways.

Upon entering the state, your first stop should be at one of Vermont's official welcome centers. They are staffed with friendly Vermonters who are available to assist with reservations, travel information, and directions that will make your visit to Vermont enjoyable.

Rutland - Southern Vermont Regional Airport
Cape Air operates daily flights to Boston's Logan Airport.

State Airports:
There are more than a dozen smaller public airports in Vermont.
 By Rail
"The Vermonter" - with daily service between Washington, D.C., New York and St. Albans, makes nine stops along the length of Vermont.

The "Ethan Allen Express" - providing daily service between New York and Rutland, with taxi and bus service to local resorts.

 By Air
For a dramatic entry into Vermont, take the Lake Champlain Ferries.
Frequent crossings on three routes provide glorious views of the Adirondack and Green Mountains.
